VolkLaw Attorneys Presented Landmines in the Path of the Cont

The VolkLaw attorneys, David Volk, Michael Dujovne and Brian Solomon presented to the Associated Builders & Contractors “Landmines in the Path of the Contractor.” The presentation addressed topics including: employee vs. independent contractor; construction lien law deadlines; and mandatory construction contract provisions. The presentation was designed to highlight a few of the many legal landmines to be avoided in the construction industry. It was well received by more than 50 members and guests. They enjoyed the presentations, a good meal, and a variety of door prizes. The opportunity to network with fellow industry leaders was advantageous to all who attended.
