Volk Law Attended the Melbourne Regional Chamber's 11th Annual

Volk Law Offices, P.A. was well-represented by attorneys Michael Dujovne, David Jones and Barry Baker at the Melbourne Chamber's 2019 11th Annual Valor Awards Dinner held on August 22nd at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place. The Valor Awards honor our region's military, police, fire and rescue personnel and their spouses in the following categories:
Award of Merit - Presented for extraordinary or unprecedented behavior. This award is presented to individuals who performed their jobs with exceptional skill, expertise or innovation and obtained unprecedented, unique or positive results. Volk Law Office's representatives were proud to have shared their table with the Chief of Police of Melbourne Beach and Melbourne Beach School Resource Officer Alex Vila, an Award of Merit recipient.
Elementary School, Middle School and High School Resource Officer of the Year - This award is presented to the School Resource Officer in each category with the most exceptional performance; who fulfilled their duties with skill, heroism, expertise, and innovation; and who achieved unprecedented, unique or positive results.
Life Saving Award - This medal is awarded to first responders for actions undertaken in a life-threatening situation, or for performing a complex rescue resulting in the survival of one or more victims.
Medal of Valor - Awarded for outstanding bravery and heroism. This medal is presented to recipients who knowingly and deliberately placed themselves in peril of death or serious bodily harm in the performance of their duties.
