Real Estate Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to handle a mix of civil matters, land use, and real estate development work for businesses, investors, and property owners in Brevard County and beyond.

Position overview

You will advise and represent clients in matters involving:

• •         Commercial and residential real estate transactions and disputes (contracts, title, leasing, financing, and related issues).
  •          Land use, zoning, entitlements, and permitting for development and redevelopment projects.
  •         Development-related issues including site plans, plat approvals, development agreements, easements, covenants, and restrictions.
  •          Civil litigation related to real property, business, and construction disputes, as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site position in a collaborative, friendly office where talent is appreciated.

 

Qualifications

• •  Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  •  Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
  •  5+ years of substantive experience in real estate law, with meaningful exposure to land use, zoning, or real estate development matters (law firm or in-house).
  •  Solid knowledge of Florida real estate law and familiarity with local government land use processes.
  •  Experience drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and development-related documents.
  •  Litigation experience involving real property or business disputes is strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with business clients, developers, and governmental entities.
  •  Demonstrated professionalism, responsiveness, and a community-focused mindset.
