Jennifer Hoffman, Esq.
Jennifer A. Hoffman is a commercial litigation attorney at Volk Law Offices, P.A., bringing more than three decades of legal experience to the firm. Her practice focuses on complex business and construction litigation, insurance coverage, professional liability, and employment disputes. She has successfully handled hundreds of cases through all phases of litigation and arbitration, including trial and appeal, in state and federal courts across Florida. She is known for her strategic approach, thorough case preparation, and unwavering advocacy on behalf of her clients. Prior Experience
Before joining Volk Law, Ms. Hoffman led the Orlando office of a regional law firm, managing a team of attorneys and staff while representing clients in retail, hospitality, and transportation liability matters. She previously served as a partner at a respected Coral Gables law firm, where she litigated construction defect, insurance, and employment discrimination claims for businesses of all sizes. Ms. Hoffman’s litigation roots run deep. Early in her career, she was part of a team of lawyers representing multiple state Attorneys General in the landmark Medicaid recoupment litigation against the tobacco industry.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Florida State University College of Law in 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, cum laude, from Huntingdon College, awarded in 1990. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993 and the Mississippi Bar in 1994 (currently inactive). Jennifer is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Her leadership in the legal community includes chairing national committees for the Defense Research Institute (DRI) where she was the recipient of the DRI Davis Carr Outstanding Committee Chair Award in 2016. She has also been an active member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC) since 2013, and she is a frequent speaker and writer on legal trends affecting business clients.
