VolkLaw Attorneys Presented Landmines in the Path of the Cont

The VolkLaw attorneys, David Volk, Michael Dujovne and Brian Solomon presented to the Associated Builders Contractors “Landmines in the Path of the Contractor.” The presentation addressed topics including: employee vs. independent contractor; construction lien law deadlines; and mandatory construction contract provisions. The presentation was designed to highlight a few of the many legal landmines to be avoided in the construction industry. It was well received by more than 50 members and guests. They enjoyed the presentations, a good meal, and a variety of door prizes. The opportunity to network with fellow industry leaders was advantageous to all who attended.
